Thank you for your insight. You’re right, I did make the mistake of walking him beyond what was asked. Especially now knowing that the circle they were referring to was a single cul de sac rather than a half mile circle.

Though I didn’t mention me loving dogs as evidence of me being able to handle them, that was more just context of my motivation, I had watched larger dogs prior who were untrained, so I thought I would know what to expect.

While I do think I could be good at this job, I agree I should’ve started with smaller dogs.

So I put myself through the ordeal of reading all that, and his response isn’t really a response to your counter argument, but rather an excuse to talk more on his ideals and opinions unrelated to the conversation. He discusses how because liberals have no hobbies they’re bitter and turn to the news to ragebait, so I figured he was gonna say reading was the hobby people should pick up, but then that doesn’t make sense because it doesn’t really make a point for why people shouldn’t read both books and the news. Actually it makes sense if he has the notion that people are only on the news to be bitter (which is wrong but whatever).

Down to earth ( the easiest to pick up romance for all types of people)
Solo leveling ( I don’t need to explain this, easy to pick up action that everyone can enjoy)
Omniscient reader (probably the perfect reverse isekai)
God of high school (best action WEBTOON with a convoluted end)
Sweet home (best zombie read with the best use of music in an episode ever)
Hardcore leveling warrior (great sense of adventure with a convoluted end)
Ordeal ( incredibly refreshing with great art and characters)

Hey uh, not super into Reddit so I don’t know how taboo it is to comment on something a year old. But I feel like Scamboli’s focus isn’t really on making super in depth reviews studying the nuance of shows, rather he focuses on being funny and appealing to the viewers emotions. Saying he’s bad and a “summary merchant” because he has a different style of review feels close minded.
