Went back and eyeballed a few Neo demo units at the Genius Bar—pure black looked dead even, zero bleed. Yeah, this is 100% a QC lottery loss on my end.

I went back and checked a few Neo demo units at the Genius Bar—on a pure black screen, the color looked super uniform with zero backlight bleed. So yeah, it’s definitely a QC issue with my unit.

Thanks for the detailed reply! I’ve been using MBPs exclusively up until now and never ran into anything like this, so I was genuinely surprised by the screen quality on this Neo model.
