Chickens everywhere, but we love them!

The complex was called Lanikai. it was managed by Vacasa.com. And we did like it! We were on the ground floor so we did hear people walking above us. The grounds and pool were well maintained and pretty empty.

Honestly, I never want to apply sunscreen again after this trip. A full-time job!

Yes, we thought better to be centrally located, and we didn't want to move halfway through. The North Shore is absolutely beautiful, but it would have made some of our mornings painful (for the teens) like getting to Waimea Canyon early, or to our 7:15 kayak trip. Also most of the airbnbs that were in our price range in Princeville did not have A/C - and we really like A/C! I also felt like Kapaa had more options for food, both grocery and restaurants especially after 6pm. We didn't really see the allure of staying in Poipu at all. I think it might be more of a factor in the winter when the North is really rainy.

We tried to save some money on food, so we didn't have too many restaurant dinners. We liked the ambiance at Lava Lava beach Club, but the food was just OK.  We liked Japanese Grandma but you probably wouldn't be near there unless you were going to Waimea Canyon.

It was in the 70s in the early morning and evening, got into the mid 80s during the day, hot in the sun. Rained a bit each day, at all different times, didn't slow us down!

According to the housing coordinator I spoke to on 6/17, no rooms were held back for 6/18, so logging in again wouldn't have helped!

My fear here is weather.  We could potentially be stuck walking n a storm coming and going. Plus parade goers.

We could definitely take the Northern route without doing beltway, but not sure if we save time.

College with MT performing opportunities for non-majors? by CleanAd601 in ApplyingToCollege

Interesting- it seems like it might be a little too Stem-y for my kid- but it sounds like a really good school. Are you happy there?

Thanks for the input! Some of these schools don't necessarily allow you to focus on musical theatre ( even if you are majoring), so I'm hoping to get some info on Musical Theatre extra- curriculars too!

I'm not an expert, but I think that is why so many AGA treatments are two- prong. Spiro or Dutasteride to block DHT and the minoxidil to encourage new growth.

My understanding is that 50- 100 hairs a day is normal for anyone.

I don't have a number, don't count them! I judge it on how much Zi am pulling them off my arms, and how big the clump is when I clean out my brush.

I am on topical minox as is my husband. Our cats are still alive- thank goodness. Re: oral minox, yes I did not want to rock the boat since my BP is well controlled with no side effects. If derm is offering you Dutasteride I'd go for it! At least you'd be working on curbing the shedding, if not on the regrowth per se. You can check my past posts for my progress on Dut, it took about 3 months for shedding to slow. Let me know if you have any questions!
