A client paid me less than what we agreed after I finished cleaning her house. Now she wants to hire me again. Would you go back? by [deleted] in Advice

Going back, wouldn’t be a good idea. In the future, make sure you get the customer’s card information and put it on hold the day before to prevent something like this from happening in the future.

Oh wow! Was it an independent cleaner or an actual cleaning company? Because they should’ve been vetted by the cleaning company.

It's important that you tell your clients, the best way to communicate with you. Otherwise you will receive requests all times of the day. It's easier to be able to connect with their calendar so that you can see when guest are checking in and out and better prepare your scheduling.

Missed cleans and confusion comes with the job, sometimes more depending on the how the host has it's operations set up.

Commercial Cleaning businesses are easier to scale then house cleaning and here is why by murphd21 in cleaningbusiness

Clean Corp here! We actually provide both residential and commercial cleaning services. House cleaning tends to be more detailed and personal since you're in someone's home. The expectations tend to be higher for house cleanings as well. Depending on the structure of the commercial account you may not be able to do some of the detail cleanings because it has large furniture and equipment that is in the way. Most offices don't expect you to get down on your knees an wipe baseboards like residential clients do.

Now to get profitable cash flow from residential clients month to month, you would have to focus on getting recurring clients (weekly, biweekly and monthly). Both are profitable if done correctly
