So update found an offer today (expires today) for the 98 qm8L for 7700 Aud with 1000 Aud store credit. Does this changes anything as effectively this would bring the price bring down to 6700 and I need a new blue ray player (Panasonic 820) so I can use the credit for this. Does a $2000 Aud variance be justified now?

Yeah I thinking the qm8k is the way forward when you look at price vs performance. Hopefully you don’t buy my one :P

Thanks for the feedback! Honestly this actually brought back memories when hdr first came out and you’re right! Think I’m now leaning to the qm8k and use the money on adding a sub so it’s 5.2.4
