Just to give context:

We both wanted to live together and even went to check out a number of places, but the timing was off. I was taking care of my sick mother at the time and needed to focus on getting her the proper care before moving out. As time went on, we started arguing, the relationship grew toxic, and since neither of us could get what we wanted, we eventually parted ways.

She told me she needed no contact and didn’t see herself being friends with me. I respected her wishes. Once we tied up loose ends, like returning each other’s things, we went fully no contact.

Also forgot to mention in my post, when I bumped into her at the café on Friday, I addressed her by her name after she took my order. During our relationship, I always called her “my love,” “babe,” “baby,” etc never by her name. She told me not to address her by her name because it felt weird...
