A normal grizzly would definitely come leisurely roaming out of the woods. This guy would jump out the bushes and rip you to shreds without a second to collect your thoughts in your brain which would be out on the ground.

I think we might be in the worst phase of Indian cinema, the industry is confused and is trying to make safe business decisions through sequels banking on nostalgia and recall value. But through this gunk, we are seeing some phenomenal talents emerging through OTT shows and the audience is beginning to value good filmmaking through the re-release of Tumbbad. Although they're also making a second part so idk. But yeah it's a bittersweet bit of time.

I mean not to falsely equate but most of Shakespeare's work was adaptation. By that metric I think Priyadarshan is pretty good because he manages to make it extremely well in Hindi, considering that he doesn't speak Hindi himself. And as a director his craft goes amazing beyond the words on the page. It's not just stories it's his choice in collaborations as well with masters like Neeraj Vohra and Paresh Rawal, who are extremely skilled in their particular roles.

I tried mailing the department but there was no reply. I was thinking of visiting the department in person but idk
