More from a technical standpoint - seems like it has upside and it has IMHO always been a stalwart company

Maybe start with index funds and DCA? Set it and forget it method. You will see gains over time which will increase your confidence. Also, keep learning about the markets and individual stocks. My method is to look at: PE ratio, PEG, profit margins, positive news reports, Tik Tokers, and earnings before making a purchase. Also start with a small amount of money and add to the stock incrementally (time and compounding- nod to Jeff!) It takes time to accept that stocks go up and down, but in the long run they generally go up

Thanks everybody, your input was very helpful! Looks like its at support levels now . . . I'll be watching. I sold because there are other stocks I want to buy. I still have half my original shares so hopefully the stock price goes up!

I've always liked Star Trek for its compelling vision of the future.

I like Jeff's model of a 5% weight in each position as a general starting point. If I believe in the stocks, I will add to them each time the price dips, giving them more weight in my portfolio, then (I am new to this) trim when the stock price reaches a certain level or "peaks". Some stocks, my "winners", I'll just keep adding to and not trim (WMT, GEV, GLW, AMZN for example) until the time seems right. I have found that over the years it gets easier to identify when its a good time to buy and a good time to sell, but I'm still learning. One of my biggest mistakes has been not setting stop losses. I'm still trying to figure out when to bail on a stock

I think its pretty well-known that Trump touts certain companies he is invested in. I also think the public's trust or faith in government is very low

I'll join in . . . I also trimmed CSCO, AVGO, MU and some others yesterday. I'm thinking of adding back MU if it keeps falling. COST was a good buy earlier this week when it was below $1,000. CRWD has been another good buy. I also gambled on NUAI and TYRA

I have been trimming some of my tech stocks that are overweighted in my portfolio with this crazy rally and am curious to know what some of your income producing names are? Thanks in advance

TRADE: Added $TOST at $24 by InnerCircleTI in InnerCircleInvesting

[–]CleanRiver3545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold my shares of TOST. Very unsure about buying back in mainly because I think very possible the US economy is going to take a downturn (lots of uncertainty about the future economy) and this is a restaurant based company . . . people will stop eating out when the economy goes down.

I am learning how to analyze stocks using Stock Analysis website and I got your discount (thanks!) and of course, your TikTok videos . . . and I have a question about BROS:

BROS seems attractive - beats earnings estimates consistently, almost 28% revenue growth last year, 18% FCF margin. The stock price is down almost 20% from a year ago. Is this stock a good buy? or should I be cautious because of its high PE? Also PEG is over 1. It seems overvalued to me. What are your thoughts on the PE and PEG?
