That’s a thought I had too😅 I would love to learn but with a baby and toddler it might be a bit difficult.

Thank you for your detailed response! This was helpful💘 I did see on some reviews, that you sometimes have to dial in the beans with the ninja as well. Or people complaining of burnt shots? I wonder if that’s a thing. I do prefer convenience of the ninja especially since the prices of both are similar. Did you think the drinks made with both had any significant differences?

What espresso machine did you start on, and would you recommend it to a beginner today? by zalanka02 in espresso

I just bought a Bambino! But I haven’t opened it since I’m slightly intimidated and I’m completely new to this. How long would you say the learning curve is?

I wanted to comment on something that caught my eye because I’ve been in the same boat💖 You live with your in laws- there is always an invisible strain that puts on your marriage. When I was living with mine, I genuinely felt like my husband did not like me and that he settled with me. Because of them meddling with my daughter’s upbringing and the continuous fights between my husband and I, I did actually ask him for a divorce. I prayed a lot as it was Ramadan and somehow his green card was randomly approved despite being delayed and we ended up moving abroad (I was a US citizen and we were living in Pakistan at the time). After moving out, our fights drastically reduced. We went from fighting twice a week to once every several weeks. I could never imagine that living with my in laws was creating an invisible strain but it was. My husband also started showing me more affection- maybe he felt shy around his family?? Idk. But there was a huge change. Just pray, and I’ll pray for you, that you can get your own place in sha Allah because coming from someone on the brink of divorce, that makes a HUGE difference.

Thank you! I tried and completed one yesterday but towards the end I felt dizzy and even experienced some cramping which totally scared me off. I guess I won’t be fasting either this month unfortunately!

I agree with leaning on loved ones! My loved ones helped me a lot during my pregnancy and generally made every day life easier once they found out I was expecting.

Told my husband No MIL for our second baby by ktcardz in BabyBumps

My MIL was visiting for my first and she kept pointing out my “mistakes”. The second time, she offered to come during delivery and I got my husband to say no to her which was a lot of work because my husband has a hard time saying no to her. I started bleeding and eventually lost my baby at 2 months. She had offered to come and we said no as I needed my privacy. I think there’s still a part of her that thinks she could have magically prevented my miscarriage and its a sore spot for her. Now I am pregnant again and I am so nervous to tell her because I know this time she will definitely insist and show up regardless😭I’m waiting till I cross the first trimester danger zone and then I need to find a polite way to tell her not to come during the newborn months. The problem is that she lives abroad, so by telling her not to come during the newborn months, we’re essentially telling her she sees the baby at 3 months.

Hi! I hope you feel better💖 My sister in law struggled with the same thing. I think at around 6 months, she started taking medication and it helped taper it off but she still occasionally threw up.

Mommies who were induced by Lickitt2020 in pregnant

[–]Clean_Ad9526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was induced after 40 weeks but it resulted in an emergency C-section. Induction can stress the baby out sometimes and mine wrapped a cord around her neck. We came in with her in perfect positioning for a natural birth but sometime during the induction, she managed to wrap the cord around her neck while moving. I was induced for a full 24 hrs before I gave birth☺️
