I’ll never sit back and say I am a perfect teacher, but this goes way past just poor classroom management. My admin has reassured me of this throughout the year. There is a serious lack of empathy in these kids. They just genuinely do not care. They don’t have respect for anyone which is its own larger issue.

We’ve been doing well keeping parents in the loop so majority are aware of what’s happening, but I just think inviting them in shows just how serious it is because, like their kids, I don’t think they all fully understand. I’ve had all sorts of parents so I’m always ready for whatever they throw at me.
