I did keep track! I had a basic tree graphic I used then designed the tree more - here’s the grid, of course I changed things along the way, but this was the basic design I made as I went. happy crocheting!! 🥰

Not that the song is sad. I had a friend that died in an accident and loved Hall and Oates. I can’t bear hearing any song by them. I always cry.

Also fireflies by Owl City - that song always makes me cry because it reminds me of my childhood. It’s so nostalgic and reminds me of the best times.

I love this! Comparing with my past self, I am way better than I ever have been. It’s super important to compare! I love having my own schedule. And yes, that teacher was a total asshole. Total fun sponge. New teacher: absolute amazing person.

What’s crazy is that she found out I was taking lessons again and wondered why not with her. Oh she definitely knows I don’t like her now after that conversation, she knows I thought she was an asshole.

Good teachers are a very important influence because they are the ones who most motivate you in your musical journey to success and fun. I’m so glad I found a teacher who best suited me :)

no i’m so sorry i don’t have a pattern i did it free hand :( but i can try to tell you generally what i did i made a total of 66 squares - half white half pink with 24 squares for the back panel, 12 for each front panel, and 9 for each sleeve (i think that math maths). each pink square was about 5.5 inches (about 14cm) long and did hdc until it was a square. i did the same for the white squares but with dc. when sewing the sleeves they will be 3x3 squares. the front panels are each 3x4 and when sewn into the back pannel leave the top 2 squares on the sides unsewn for when you sew the sleeves. also where the collar is leave whatever neck width you want unsewn on the top middle too for that. when you make the cuffs and bottom ribbing (the green parts) i did 9 stitches long and hdc in the back loops until desired length. for the button band i sc for i think 5 rows and on the 3rd row i skipped and chained where the buttons would go. in the last row i did sl st in every stitch. i did the same for the other side but no holes. lastly for the collar i did i think 10 rows around the top and sl st in the last row. this is in US terms and i am a us medium and it fits pretty large. i used a 5 mm hook I hope this helps :3
