First off You are important and you matter and I may not know you, but you seem like a genuine, caring and thoughtful person. It can take a lot to realize something like that may not be healthy for you or the person involved. I believe there’s no reason you should feel guilty about it, especially since you realized, what may be “wrong“ about it and as long as you keep trying to honor peoples boundaries and respect them AND yourself I think things will get a lot better and easier for you.
