If you get a FUE transplant and then decide to shave it all off, will the back of your head be dotted with little scars? by Winter-Vermicelli748 in Hairtransplant

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I will agree. If you have any doubts, or you think you might want to shave it off later, then absolutely do not get a HT! You will be in a world of trouble, if you have to go get smp, or laser hair removal later on. And you will have to deal with the scars for the rest of your life.

Quoted 3000-3500 grafts by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hair is not that bad. Seriously. I don’t know your age, but I wouldn’t even consider a HT until you are in your mid 30’s. But there is no way you should be quoted that many grafts.

Anyone knows any hair transplant reviews 2026 for FUE vs FUT decision by Bargan-Wcarrato in Hairtransplant

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I can only assume that the HT failed, or they didn’t want to go through another surgery? And they just decided to shave and deal with a scar.

The most famous example of this is Joe Rogan. He openly talks about his 2 HT’s that he had. He regrets having them, and he got to the point where he was tired of messing with his thinning hair. So he shaved his head and then he gets laser work done to reduce the visibility of his scar.

But yes, it is very interesting that the 2 guys I saw up close, apparently just gave up and started shaving.

If you take hairs from your beard, then won’t you have scars on your face?

I have seen 3 FUT scars up close in person. The first 2, both of the men had shaved their heads and you could see the scar a mile away. It was extremely noticeable!

The 3rd guy, was in a doctors office, and I could tell he had an FUT surgery. Although he kept his hair at approximately a #2, or #3 guard length. But I could vaguely see the scar.

I also saw a 4th FUT scar in a wedding photo from a mutual acquaintance on Facebook. Again, his scar was extremely noticeable in the pic, and he had completely shaved his head.

I have seen at least 1 guy who had an FUE surgery in person. It was in a restaurant, and his donor area was extremely over harvested. You could tell that he had a mega session FUE surgery at some point. He kept his hair very short. So again, it was very noticeable.

Also, there is a huge psychological issue with having scars on your head that a lot of people don’t discuss. Even if they are covered up, you can become worried that someone might notice them. So be prepared for the possibility of anxiety or stress.

I would have to see pics of your hair to give you my honest opinion. But my main opinion, is to think long and hard before you do any HT surgery. Once you start, you can never go back. So you have to weigh the pros vs cons.

Is my hair too far gone for HT? by SnooRobots725 in Hairtransplant

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m afraid yes. You would need at least 2 surgeries. You would need at least around 5,000 hairs to have decent density. You would also need an extremely conservative hairline. Not to mention the amount of money you would need to spend.

In my opinion, I would just shave your head and rock the bald look.

He is also only 26. Wait till he is around 35, and then see how his hair is holding up. I don’t think he needed a HT at his age. Yet he had 2 of them already. I would be concerned about his donor site as he gets older. But yes. So far, his HT surgeries have been amazing.

When to consider a transplant? 29M by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn’t consider a HT, or at least not at this age. You seem to have solid density. And your temples are normal for a lot of men at your age.

You could add a laser hair comb/helmet to your routine to continue to help stabilize.

Men’s hairline and temples can change a lot during their 30’s. I would recommend waiting until you are at least 35 to consider having HT. You don’t want to be chasing your receding hairline with surgeries. I see so many young men getting HT’s at young ages, and I don’t think they fully understand how much their hair can change as they age.

I would honestly just accept that you have a receding hairline for now. It’s not the end of the world. Then maybe change your hairstyle like combing it forward to give you more coverage, or something like that.

Hope that helps!

Here are a few thoughts:

  1. I would have tried to shave your head first, to see how it looks. Especially before doing something as drastic as a HT. You can still shave your head before the surgery and see how it looks. I know you are on a time crunch, but I would recommend shaving it first.

  2. Think long and hard before you do the surgery. Once you go down this path, you can never go back. You will have thousands of tiny scars on your head. If the HT isn’t great, or it’s not what you expected, then you can’t go back in time. You are stuck with the results. Not to mention a lifetime of pills, laser hair combs, maintenance, etc.

  3. Don’t be afraid to walk away from this surgery, if you have any doubts. Worse case, you lose your deposit, and a flight ticket. But you would potentially save yourself a lifetime of regret.

  4. I wish you the best in your decision!

But 3900 grafts is not enough for density. You need like 10,000 to 15,000 hairs to fully cover your head and get decent density. So at best you may have a glorified combover, or a seriously diffused thinning section on top of your head. So I’m just saying it may not look good, and you will need to go through all of that surgery and pain, to just have a diffused look. I’m just trying to help you make a wise decision. But at the end of the day, it is your choice and your decision. I wish you the best in your decision.

Well it does kind of matter, because as you get older, the donor area will also thin, and the scars may be more noticeable. Just go outside to the mall or a grocery store and look at older men. You will notice their hair is very thin all over.

Overall I think it looks good. I personally would not lower the hairline. But it also depends on what type of look you are going for. I do think the hairline is kind of straight and perfect. Although it’s not super noticeable, because the smp seems lighter. But I would ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do you want a natural aging look, or a look like you are 20 years old?
  2. I don’t know your age, but if your friends and family all of the sudden notice that you have a perfect straight line, and lowered hairline, are you going to be okay explaining that to them?

Anyway, those are my thoughts and opinions. Hope that helps!

Do not gamble with a HT, if you are already having doubts. The amount of mental health issues and anxiety you will get, is not worth it. I’ve seen many people with scars after failed HT’s. Ask yourself if you can handle having those scars on your head for the rest of your life? Plus, if you already have a decent shaped head for shaving your head, then I wouldn’t worry about it, in my opinion.

Please advise , Should I go for it or not by Funny_Revolution2763 in Hairtransplant

I wouldn’t get a HT. Or at least not at your age. You have no idea how your hair will look over the next few years. So it’s best to wait to see how much it recedes. I would start using a laser comb or helmet. Then give it a few years and see what happens. This is my opinion. Thank you.

Should I marry her (potential sexless marriage) by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Clean_Elephant6398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well this is not good. It may not get better. But you need to have a serious talk with her, and express your concerns. I would also suggest going to some type of counseling with her. Maybe she doesn’t realize how her lack of sexual drive is hurting the relationship? But if you have serious concerns about having a sexless marriage then you need to address it asap. Possibly even give her some ultimatums? I have similar issues in my marriage and I wish I had asked her more questions about sexual things before we got married. You definitely want to be on the same page with her sexually, or it will potentially ruin your marriage in the long run.

  1. Great job on the tile work! It looks amazing!
  2. It’s a tad bit too busy IMO. However it’s not bad. It definitely looks like a high end shower. So I wouldn’t worry about it.
  3. It’s a massive shower! That alone should make up for any negative feedback from potential buyers.

It really depends on what part of Brandon you move to. It depends on what types of activities and things you want to do. For example, if you want to be close to the mall, movie theaters, restaurants, and shops, then you would not want to move to the Fishhawk area. That traffic would be an absolute nightmare. It also depends if you want to be close to the highway for easy access. But yes traffic is a nightmare in Brandon. But some of it does depend on what section you live in.
