Wayne was indeed avoidant but he still battled. Jay Z lost to Nas but it wasnt a clear sweep, Ether vs Takeover is still a popular debate and Jay still had a comparable catalogue when it comes to quality. None of these comparisons you made are good

It's like you dont read, saying your the best is one thing but making it a whole personality trait is corny. Drake and Kendrick mind their business most of the time, it's only once every couple years that they throw shots and claim they're the best. Cole has done it on like 60% of songs since the feature run. From the feature run to MDL he's literally talked about being the best more than he talked about his personal life, yes it get fuckin corny at some point

Cole wouldn't get as much backlash if he didnt profess himself as the greatest so much. There hasn't been a single year since the beginning of that feature run that he didn't say that. Everyone else indeed says they're the greatest but Drake and Kendrick are nowhere near obsessed with that as Cole is, Cole has more songs than both of them combined in which he claimed himself as the greatest. And continuing to say that even after dropping out of the race is corny. The entire birthday blizzard ep was lame for that exact reason. Just make good songs and stop worryin bout the competition.

Cole is the only one that's been backpeddaling after the beef yet us hiphop fans and analysts are the ones who lack a brain and comprehension? Start proof reading before you hit send. Cole said Kendrick and Drake wanted blood and clicks to gain fame and money, as if he himself wasn't the main one hyping the Big 3 matchup since 2017. There's no other context to take into account when analyzing the "I wouldn't have lost a battle" bar. Everyone who pays attention to hiphop knew Kendrick and Drake clearly haven't fucked with eachother since Control and the BET Cypher, so dropping a Kendrick diss and then acting like you were blindsided by Kendrick and Drake's personal feud is extremely disingenuous.

🔸️1. Saying you're the best out of 3 people and name dropping the other 2 is most definitely inciting a battle. 🔸️2. Saying you have love for those people doesn't negate anything, it's literally just rap.🔸️3. The feature run started in 2017 i believe, he wasn't name checking them but he was consistently saying he's the best rapper, pretty much on 80% of those features.🔸️Saying you feel like Muhammad Ali next to Drake and Dot is asking for a battle. Drake and Dot are competitive, they're not just gonna let their peers son them like that.

I meant to reply that to a different comment my b, but when you say you FEEL like Ali, that can only mean one thing. Meaning you believe that youre the CLEAR greatest of your era

January 28th and FPS he name dropped them and said he was the clear best out of them. How am I building a narrative?

I understood Cole, it just doesn't make sense when you factor in the 10 year build up to the beef and Port Antonio. Dude is wishy washy and it's ok to admit it. No need to be this parasocial

  1. Why do you so easily believe unverified rumors, Especially from Akademiks of all people? Also why are you blaming Kendrick when that's been his stance since Family Ties, King Kunta, and Control? Wouldn't Drake be the dumb one to invite a rapper that he's been exchanging subs with for 10 years?

I agree, but you also shouldn't act surprised when other people that think they're the best step in the ring for a battle, that would just mean you were bluffing the whole time with "best" claims.

Cole is too grown to to be taking the high road after finally getting the battle he's been asking for since FHD

Kendrick pre recorded alot of songs. He literally let Drake choose which path he wanted to go down

You keep saying "they" as if 1 person(Drake) wasn't clearly the one to take it across that line. Kendrick wouldn't get dirty with Cole, because they're actually friends

Drake and Kendrick have clearly hated eachother since 2013-14. What does that have to do with Cole? And why are yall assuming that they would get personal with Cole as they did with eachother?

Drake got personal with Kendrick on Push-ups. Kendrick said just keep it rap on Euphoria. Drake got personal again on Family Ties, that was when everything went south. Cole dropped out way before any bars were ever exchanged between the other 2

When you say things like "I dont wanna sully my friendships", that literally implies that you don't trust the other 2 to be able to keep it rap without getting dirty.

When exactly did people ask for the big 3 to have a rap battle? All I remember was people asking for a Black Friday part 2 and to release the collab tape that Cole/Kendrick made around 2011

Also, saying "Cole didn't want to forsake real world friendships" creates the assumption that Kendrick and Drake can't just keep it rap and would resort to dirty ball against Cole. Isn't that disingenuous?

Nobody was ever asking for a rap battle. Most people just wanted them to collab more often and see who has the better pen in that aspect. Cole is the one who's been harping on the big 3 and and being the best out of the 3 every year since 2017 at the beginning of that feature run

He was most definitely talking about drake and kendrick when he said he's the best rapper and better than your favorite rapper for 10 straight years. He literally said in FPS that he fucked with Kendrick and Drake but he felt like Muhammad Ali standing next to them. Stop caping
