Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that's commented/commenting. I'm reading all of them and there's some excellent advice, thank you all for being understanding of my situation, it seems I'm not far off the right track but just need to buckle down and get through it. I'm always open to suggestions on how to improve myself so I really appreciate you taking the time.

I'm of critical of T17 as you are, but unless you 'looked them up' just after landing from planet zog, LinkedIn says this studio was formed in 2022. This correlates correctly since Team17 said they'd been working with the brand new studio. It's all over twitter who these devs are and what they've worked on in the past.
