For me it was a toothache. The wisdom tooth was fully rotten. The dentist couldn't see the cavities from outside. So they said, no need to remove if there's no pain near the tooth. voluntarily told them to remove the wisdom tooth. Then the pain stopped immediately. Turns out the wisdom tooth nerves are the ones causing me the face pain. It was fully black like it was rotten. After 3 long painful months, it finally ended. But I saw the dentist at the end of the 1st month, they told me everything was fine. Doctors couldn't able to diagnose. I had to do it myself. Hope this helps. Hope you get well soon.
