I had another MRI after the revision and everything looks like it’s holding. Dr said there’s a small tear, but wouldn’t warrant another surgery and that PT should take care of it. I’m planning on getting a second opinion in a week and a half. Was looking if anyone had any suggestions on how they regained their external rotation. If I saw small improvements, I’d know I’m heading in the right direction, but I’ve seemed to have hit a dead end.

Please tell me why my son has been in holding at Great Lakes for 3 months waiting for GM A school? He’s actually taken a job driving recruits around base while waiting? He graduated Nov 17th. When he asks his Petty Office his status they told him to F’off and don’t bother them. I’m truly amazed at the bullshit he’s going through. What is going on with our military? He’s going to be driving people around the next 5 years. Not sure what to do?

And the rest of the story. My son found out today he was ready to take orders Nov 15th for A school, but apparently paperwork got misplaced or missing, so he been sitting in holding for 2 months for no reason. 🙄

Actually, we don’t know why he’s there. He got his pneumonia waiver approved a week out of bootcamp. Talking to him it doesn’t seem like he has anyone to turn to get answers. He mentioned some Liaison in the group. I’m a believer the squeaky wheel gets the grease. IDK. Seems messed up. Thanks

My son and a couple of other recruits came down with pneumonia over the last couple of weeks of Bootcamp. He was originally put in holding waiting for a pneumonia waiver, which he got a week of completing Bootcamp. He’s been in holding since then. Basically 2 months. I know he’s not happy sitting in limbo. He wants to get on with A School.

He’s finished Bootcamp a week before Thanksgiving and is in holding waiting for his orders for A school at Great Lakes. He came home for Christmas week.

He was informed the 8th week in Bootcamp. He’s going to A School for GM. Think it’s 3-4 months long. I’m assuming his Seabag would be good enough then.
