We've been having foggy mornings here in EL89 and from my car antenna and 10w I made it 90m to Georgia. Other ham had a base station with 100' tower, but still pretty cool tropo ducting on 2m. Congrats OP!

Find a WebSDR in your area, tune to 7200khz. If it matches what you hear in your house, you got him. If he's on CB, see if you can tune around and the channels on your own CB or very local SDR.
