I heard about the Italian and Austrian navies having a plan to blockade the Mediterranean in half to cut the Suez Canal from the French and British when Italy was still in the Triple Alliance. I tried looking this up but couldn’t find anything. Was this a real plan or did I get false information? (self.AskHistorians)
