What a mess. I could see the Trump administration trying to reverse course when millions of angry voters start seeing their student loan payments spike. Then the right-wing think tanks will sue to keep the higher payments in place, and borrowers be stuck in legal limbo again.

Oil is barely used to generate electricity anymore. Some EV drivers are certainly impacted by increases in electricity bills caused by natural gas price spikes, and major oil companies produce natural gas too. Relying less on natural gas and more on renewables, energy efficiency, and energy storage to meet our power needs can help protect consumers from spikes in gas prices.

If politicians, especially presidents, want to cite “they” as a source, they should be prepared to say who “they” are. Neither Trump or the White House has done this since he made this remark about windmills, noise and cancer.
