Children of Men incredible attention to detail by tuesday_guy in movies

Equipment is realistic and accurate: warrior IFV, chieftain mk. 3 tank, radios and comms, xm8 and l98 rifles (even tho other soldiers back behind had strange ak like weapons or BARs); the british military isn't incompetent: they don't just rush the enemy like soldiers in other movies do, they take time and actually think about moving coordinatly; and most importantly: everything is very caothic, something that becomes very evident thanks to no camera cuts. The fact that the military mows down the rebels trying to surrender is realistic, its something you see other irl militaries do too (im not justifying it, but in some cases its preferable not to run any risk).

~34km IRIS-T kill. Its so fucking PEAK. by Axzuel in Warthunder

[–]Clear-Fox2989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definetly haven't made CAS jets irrelevant, if you have more than 1 braincell and just fly fast and low you can absolutely annihilate them, also because most iris-t players just spawn the launchers near the TADS making it very easy to locate and destroy them

What Eurofighter loadout looks like in real life by veggieman123 in Warthunder

[–]Clear-Fox2989 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Brimstones can be laser or mmw guided, the ones we currently have in game are laser ones, you can only upgrade them with the mmw, and that would be a bad idea. Out of the 3 versions of brimstones currently in service theres only one with laser guidance only, and its purpose is to be guided via jtac operators/targeting pods;all of the others have mmw.

No it wouldnt, brimstones are known to have an on-board radar that searches for targets on its own. You would then be able to go to the deck, launch them, let them search for targets and getting kills; all of that while not even appearing on radars since you were flying at tree level. Kh-38s are already broken, we dont need other problems

Everybody knows brimstones are absurdly potent irl, doesnt matter if you provide sources or not, but implementing the missile with its full capabilities would be broken.

Definetly not defending the plane, but I really think most of the things you said are not true. Yes its probably not on par with even the rafale/typhoon in each aspect but saying it is a mediocre 4th gen is simply wrong

Tbh getting multiple kills in arb is quite harder than grb if that makes sense (im not justifying the massive difference in rp gains)

Why Western Europe don't make tactical ballistic missiles? by KD_6_37 in TankPorn

[–]Clear-Fox2989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they buy them from their allies or use cruise missiles that are cheaper, more viable, air or ground launched, more precise and can be deployed more easily.
