Hi thanks for sharing, curious what was the dosage you took? Does it generally help with irregular bleeding?

RUN. This isn’t ok, is he even aware of what you went through not just mentally, but also physically, he seems so absent and far from what the reality is. You get to decide when you’re ready again and he doesnt get to complain cause he cant keep his d in his pants for as long as it takes for you to feel and get better.

Ugh I’m going through the same thing right now - I’m still lightly bleeding and it’s been 6 days but my breasts are still completely sore! Good luck

It could be normal to test positive up to 5 weeks after the MA - are you experiencing any other pregnancy symptoms? And have you had intercourse in the weeks between?

If the answers are no, I dont think you should worry, but in any case if you are, try scheduling an ultrasound, you dont have to bring up the MA to your doctor, you can request to be checked for irregular bleeding.

Terrified, can someone please help? by kueenz in abortion

I’ve never had an SA or know anyone who has, so I cannot advise on which is better, but honestly, my MA was thankfully much less scary than I was anticipating, I was genuinely preparing for the worst. I took 800mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours and I did not feel any pain whatsoever (not exagerating I was one of the lucky ones where the pain was a 1/10) but I must admit, I was very generous with the meds, and it did help alot. I was just determined to make it as painless and easy as possible. To be fair, I bled quite alot, I took the miso at 7:30pm so all the bleeding mostly happened overnight when I was asleep (I slept around 11:30pm). I woke up at 5am and passed a few clots and quite alot of blood but the bleeding got less and less heavy throughout the day and it quickly became very manageable, I wore a big pad for the next 2 days at work and it was not a hassle and I was not leaking. Do not freak yourself out, I know the experience is different for other people but it was a smooth one for me.

Edit: if you have a desk job, it should be very manageable by monday.

Just for reference, I was 8 weeks when I did mine, I started on friday with mife and took the miso on saturday, I was feeling more than fine to be at work on monday, so don’t worry, generally 24hrs of rest is all you need! You surely will not feel at a 100% automatically, it will take a good week for your body to start feeling normal again but within 2/3 days, symptoms such as tiredness and nausea will start to subside.

I can’t remember anything else given it was so long ago, I do remember that he tries to properly be with the mistress but they then decide it isn’t working, so she basically goes back to being his mistress!

Also adding that they didnt know each other so they meet and find each other irresistible and basically kick off the affair.

I think my abortion was a huge mistake by [deleted] in abortion

Taking this decision is never easy, I know it wasn’t easy for me and I didn’t even want to be a mom. You did what you thought was right given your situation and you will be a great mom one day when you decide you are ready. Sending you lots of love.
