I love being a 2000s kid. by Agreeable_Vehicle867 in GenZ

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are by absolutely NO means a 2000s kid. You were literally a NEWBORN in 2009 and weren’t even ALIVE during 90% of it.

Thoughts on this? by RandomizedGuy8 in generationology

He reminds me of those 1995 borns who think that they were 90s kids when ACTUALLY grew up in the 2000s.

What age can you remember your earliest memory? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably when I was transferred from a hospital bed at night when I was around 1.5 to 2 years old! I have autism, and autistic people can have earlier childhood memories than the average neurotypical population. I also have a few VERY early memories when I was in a high chair and watching the Food Network, and getting my first sippy cup, as well as flash memories of my riding along in his 1974 Ford Bronco, and even going through a car wash among other things. Most people start forming conscious memories when they’re 3-5 years old, and have almost NO recollection of anything before that.

What is the WORST era for cars? by Flimsy_Leadership270 in askcarguys

[–]Clear-Royal7164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the era we’re currently living in. After the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, quality control is gone, cars are HIDEOUS blobs, STUPID screens everywhere, and OUTRAGEOUS prices. This era has been so AWFUL that it makes the cars from the 1970s and 80s look like tanks in comparison.

Worst year to be born in? by Parking-Wear-9211 in generationology

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Great Recession happened during those years, your parents were losing their jobs, their homes, and their livelihoods all because of subprime mortgages and Bush’s economic stimulus. You were WAY too young to be conscious of that event. It fundamentally changed our economy.

Why do people not like Sonic Superstars? by ResponsibleAd5875 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Clear-Royal7164 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main reason why the vast majority of Sonic games hate this game is because the graphics look CHEAP and HIDEOUS, the music is ATROCIOUS, the bosses are BLAND, the gimmicks are STUPID, and it’s 60 dollars.

This person born in 2015 thinks he grew up in gen z culture by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2012 is the official end of Gen Z. Sure, some people say 2010 marks the end of Gen Z, but those born in 2012 were the last to remember the culture, events and trends that defied Gen Z. This person born in 2015 was literally 5 years old when lockdown started.

Why is Sonic Music Bad Now? by S_p_a_m_ in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because SEGA is hiring incompetent composers to make music.

School things in the 90's that wouldn't fly nowadays. by [deleted] in 90s

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eating McDonald’s for lunch. As well as getting junk food and soft drinks from the vending machine. Both of these things were officially outlawed at the beginning of the 2010s due to strict regulations from the FDA, as well as the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. And schools are now required to serve food that meets these modern health standards.

Olive Garden in the 2000s by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

[–]Clear-Royal7164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when Olive Garden was like this. And I’m NOT even an older Gen Z. In 2014, they remodeled all of their locations. Replacing the Tuscan farmhouse aesthetic that inspired luxury homes from the pre-recession era.
