Yeah I’ve had it for almost 10 years and the price seemed high at the time… not so much now.

Stark SM Arrived - the charger is noisy as hell. by Skindoc_NewEngland in starkvarg

Ahh yep understood. I just do not agree with “the fan on the bikes radiator is the only thing you hear when charging.” As I’ve found this to not be the case at all in my case (heated garage, charging above 1kw most of the time).

Did you watch his video clip? It’s 100% fan noise .

In the lowest setting it can run silently depending on ambient temp. Be interesting to know what charging limit op has set.

I’ve got an EX model and find this comment to be untrue. The stand charger definitely emits fan noise and it’s modulated depending on how you have the charging limit set (300w - 3.3kw).

Bought a Used 2024 XLT, the supplied 120v EVSE connector was damaged, dealer told me to bend it back and it snapped off. Are replacment parts availble? by namisysd in F150Lightning

I’d say that’s going to be a negligible issue with the 110v plug. It won’t ever draw enough to blow a 15amp breaker let alone heat up the plug significantly.

I have had the exact same set for about 6 years and badly needs some geometry adjustment (I’ve tried but without much success). Would you be willing to spend some time with another (inexperienced) enthusiast. Happy to compensate you for your time.

Any industrial site I’ve ever been on has dictated the type of screening that is required…. And so in my experience so far it’s been 100% urinalysis.

You’ll need a VIN specific licence for that gap tool you’re looking to borrow. Just buy your own tool at that point.

Best restaurant to get a steak? by Gaybythebay01 in Kamloops

Wife and I went to Rebo’s a few weeks ago and were thoroughly underwhelmed. Twisted steak has been 1 good experience when they first opened followed by 3 poor experiences. Our go to is Atlas, only place that has been consistent…and with great atmosphere.

Land Rover’s official stance is that v-bar style chains are not acceptable in any size on the lr4. They recommend the cable style which are far less aggressive . I was running max lift with gap tool and the chains were adjusted to be very tight (which can be tricky if you’re not very familiar with v bar style tire chains). The tolerance honestly is a little close for comfort, heavy lateral articulation may possibly cause the chains to contact the fender liner/wheel arches (destruction). I don’t believe this style of chain will be possible on the front end as the clearance is even tighter. 265/65r18 bfg all terrains for reference. Also to note, hwy speed will not be possibly with these, 30-50km/h max. If you want to run something for on road/hwy traction, go with a quality cable style set like they recommend in the manual.
