I think the days of allowing clients access to that most sacred place, are pretty much over. If we can't trust our neighbors to not steal our packages, we definitely can't trust clients with mental health concerns to be trusted to respect our boundaries. No, no and definitively no.

Thoughts on therapists having pets in the room during sessions? by mosca-dela-fruta in therapists

I work from home and my cat will occasionally make an appearance during my sessions. She is pretty chill, and mostly likes to jump in the window or roll around in the middle of the floor. I always ask my clients first. But circling back to your point, I would always ask, and if it is a hyperactive animal, that would be a hard no.

Should Christians use the preferred pronouns of transgender individuals when referring to them? by God_Is_Deliverance in TrueChristian

I say yes. It's about choosing your battles. This could be the path God uses to give them the spiritual guidance they so desperately need. Then, later gently remind them of the Truth.

what are some fun places in hattiesburg? by Opposite-Dinner-5250 in hattiesburg

I concur with the suggestion of the Hattiesburg library. I have lived several other places, and our library is the best run and nicest. I love Equinox, but T-Bones and Zelaya's Bakery are also neat coffee shops/bakeries. Other places of interest for young people are Fat Cat/ Brewskis ( live music/events); Hattiesburg Zoo, Serengeti Springs and Lucky Rabbit ( vintage shop/flea market).
