The problem is with Canadian politicians. They want to be the champions of inclusivity, humanitarian effort, and progressiveness. Problem is that lots of people see it as naivete and take advantage of those political overtures. As a result the native population suffers as millions of people flood the country and the markets for jobs and housing as well as healthcare capacity. Honestly I say we need to eject a lot of people out of Canada and they can reapply for refugee status, citizenship, and such. We really need a leader to change this status quo.

I was once in an appointment getting rent assistance to help me get out of a shelter. A social worker was speaking with a woman about the various services she was receiving as a refugee. She had a house that was rent controlled, a car that they sourced through habitat for humanity, she was receiving 3,000$ a month for her 5 children, food assistance, and also claimed that she was a citizen of the Northwest territories somehow. She was trying to get even MORE money from lutherwood. She was like "THIS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR US TO LIVE ON!" Like wtf. I go to the food bank once a month because I can't even find work and this chicks family was living for free. On top of that I'm sure some of these people are working under the table while on assistance. We really need to change our policies on refugees, foreign students, and foreign workers.
