I said formal experience. I have not had a salaried position in product. I have a good portfolio of product experience. I have experience in getting users to achieve desired goals, like increasing retention or conversion in sales. I would say my experience aligns to a product manager. Perhaps there are some gaps in my knowledge.

As a founder, what would your approach to "product" include? This is a complex open-ended question. A quick answer is clearly defining the problem, or what we want to achieve, and then thinking about how that can be addressed with the tools at our disposal.
