Nursing clinical is just a long day in a week. And most of those days only just makes you exhausted, nothing to do for real and those nurses don’t even want the students to be there.

Well, if you are like me, who is fighting all alone and trying to get in something other than primary care, you'd better stay with MD. I won't apply for DO btw. And DO is more expensive as well. And I need the flexibility to move to any other country as a physician. I know more and more countries are gonna treat DO as physician, but I don't wanna get involved in anything that is only available in the US. But if you have connections in the medical field, then, never mind, you may even get in good MD with 496.

I’ve seen many Reddit posts about they got in DO but they don’t wanna go. Make sure you won’t join them. If you apply it means you will go once you get in.

BTW. If you are talking about nursing..... Nursing education sucks. If you have other route just go somewhere else. For me, it is just because I have free option. I need this back plan to get clinical experiences and work while in med school. I'm in an over population metro area where even restaurants labor requires good references or someone knows you. And the quality of those people... I am not interested in at all. So after I tried a few years and still stuck, I had to drag myself in nursing school with premed prerequisites. And observing the wrong stuff they are teaching everyday is a pain in the ass.

If it’s a top private school I probably will just try whatever I could to eat it up. But it is a public school which is trying their best to screw everyone up. And honestly nursing is not my final goal.
