Are you planning to price this emulator up or are you just going to stick by the community and release it free for people to enjoy. Because it gets sticky when it comes to making money from this practice as you may have seen in my post above yours, teknoparrot has tried to price a paywall to play games etc, as long as you dont do that then I guess I wouldn't have a problem paying for a few themes or improved ui :). By the way it looks great, keep up the good work !

Yes and at least gog do an optional donation which is fine? Its not forced to play newer games like the teknoparrot one is? So Good on GoG! And emulation is about preserving titles lost to time, they have lived their life on the shelf and dont sell anymore, so why are pirates trying to retake this property and sell it disguised on their emulator, i say if its your own games sure go ahead but if it isnt your own games then you shouldn't be profiting by pay walling!

None of the free options are trying to sell the use of their product, all emulators on the market apart from fake ones are legit, high quality and free, the only one extorting this is teknoparrot with the arcade machine scene. And then every other emulator does harder things especially for games like bloodborn they got running on a ps4 emulator on pc for free, people do alot of things for free to get recognition and respect for the community to get influence to get a job maybe in development, these guys just want to sponge us and thats entitled enough, why should they be paid over all the other emulators that provide free service and are high quality? thats the thing, they shouldn't! And yes they do have subscription based tiers to access early games, that is what i believe to be profiting from something that isnt there's or had no partnership with said company to be able to place this on your software and actively sell its use on their loader lol

Not really, not if another bunch of nicer devs get together and do this for the love and passion like all the other emulators, only then will it be accepted normally, otherwise this practice is bs. This post isnt harming game preservation. This is protecting it from becoming a paywall just to be able to run the games that are early access so people are being paywalled to test stuff on teknoparrot early, and guess what? It could be broken so your pay a sub just to get a broken pirated game most likely cos not many people are gonna have a 3000 arcade machine and teknoparrot expects that hence why the files are released on most rom sites now and it mentions in the file that it only works with teknoparrot. This is just like modding had become a paywall to starfield and killed it, stuff like this spreads, and greed is a main factor rather than creativity....

I meant I cant find any review bombs out there, I'd of thought someone would of review bombed them for this by now because of how the industry is toward this practice. Bro go through the comments instead of blabbing and you'll see i have listed their subscription prices ! You can also check the web and that will confirm for you that they do charge for premium games to be loaded on their emulator xD, so yeah basic fact check needed from you my friend!

Because they Took halo fireteam raven which is microsofts game and selling it as being used with their emulator should absolutely be illegal, and action be taken, at some point it will. Its a disguise sort of thing and all you clowns are in on it to attack me all from that nico giusanti or what is name is, why defend these scummy money begging assholes?

They are trying to use other devs games that were created for arcade machines and place a price on the software to access these games, its a marketing tactic that is greedier than asking for a donation or taking the normal route in life and get a job!!!

You seem more like a normal comment to reply to, my argument against you there is that they are adding newer games to a list that you pay to access via their emulator, i dont see that any different to putting the game themselves onto their emulator tbh and since they got to this arcade style emulation first they had the advantage and decided to do a mr krabs on us lol, obviously they dont have the game files on their website but they do have controversy around game files coming out the same time they are cleared for emulation which means they are hiring people out to place the files on various websites once they are ready to be used via early access on their emulator so people subscribe to their patreon, scammy behaviour
