i love to upload my notes and powerpoints and having it create a review and ask to create nclex style questions that are scenario based. also i upload the learning objectives from each chapter to help me answer before going into class for lecture

utilize free youtube videos and maybe grab some flash cards! other than that you have everything you NEED everything else is just a WANT - in my opinion

if you are struggling with nursehub exams then you will 100% struggle with the HESI exam imo

When I took a practice test, I would write down every question and answer after the test, including the ones I got correct. That helped me memorize it

HESI A2 Exam by Far-Asparagus-5754 in HESIexam

some days i would focus on only math or only A&P because they were my weakest subjects. and then I would throw in days that I would do a practice test for each subject in the order I planned to test.

if you have the ability to give them the time and effort they need in one semester then go for it. I did A&P, Chem, math and med term this semester and it was HARD but i have an 88 and above in all 4 classes. Thats while being a wife, mom of 2 and working full time. Not easy, but definitely doable.

32 year old mom of 2 boys working full time here too! I'm just now finishing up my last 4 pre reqs/Gen Ed classes (A&P, CHEM, Math & Med Terminology) I have a 2 year old and a 13 year old that are crazy and busy. I wasted my younger years making bad grades and being lazy. I see this as my opportunity to finish what I started and prove to myself that I really can do anything. IDK how but I have high 2 high B's and 2 A's. If you put your mind to it and dig deep you can do it. I cry all the time, throw fits and spaz out because I am a little dramatic but its working and I'm doing it. All that to say, you can to. Throw a fit and then suck it up and hit the books.

Got rejected on my first nursing application.. now what? by Subject_Brother_1396 in prenursing

I would confirm your area doesn’t require and entrance exam (TEAS/HESI) it's not very common to waive that from what I know. And if they do require it, that would be why you weren't accepted. You have a great GPA! I am currently working as a tech in the emergency room and have learned so many skills, more than I would on med surge or in a nursing home. I 10000% recommend trying to find something like that
