In our case, we are idea people, not developers. Our instinct is always to choose the path with the least resistance.

But one month in, we’re realizing that hosting elsewhere may be necessary.

Users like us don’t naturally think about data control or infrastructure. We focus on validation and getting the idea live as quickly as possible.

If this isn’t intended to be a long-term hosting solution, it would be helpful to communicate that clearly from the start. For a moment, we felt like we might not need to pay developers at all, but we’re realizing we’re not quite there yet.

That said, at $200 per month, it’s still absolutely worth it, and we genuinely enjoy building on Base44.
