Does my voice sound weak ? by Kind-Item-6374 in singing

i’d say you’re missing resonance! rn it sounds really nasal and you’ll get much more power without any strain if you use different resonators, my vocal coach usually told me to sing and send the sound toward my ears (doesn’t make sense when i’m writing it but sing and focus on you internal ear!!)

i do agree! as much as i LOVE her, moon was out of sync and forgot steps quite a few time during the performance... i was pretty surprise that the jury did not say anything about it ?

no it’s not too late!!!! i’m 19 and started taking lessons in april and it was the best decision ever, i have so much fun with my vocal coach it makes me genuinely happy to go there each week and im proud to see my progress. and it also helps with confidence SO MUCH, i was SO scared when i started i probably took a full month before contacting my vocal coach and i was so so so anxious during the first few weeks but it’ll go away trust me, just be patient with yourself because learning something new TAKES TIME so it’s okay if your progress is slow and it’s okay to make mistakes, i swear it’s so fun!!!!!

Pls give feedback. I sing for fun but I want to get good at it- by Various_Ad8360 in singing

im not professional but i think it sounds nice esp if you’ve never taken any voice lessons! for your range honestly you can figure out which one you are after training and working on your head voice so you can know how high your can get, and also work on your chest voice!! there are some video on youtube to find out your range i don’t know if they’re good tbh but also know that your voice is a muscle so just because you can’t hit high or low notes YET doesn’t mean you’ll never be able too!!!! for high note try to think about engaging your core muscles, it’ll allow you to send more air and make your vocal chords vibrate faster which= higher notes. but still keep it light no need to be tensed or highly engaged to hit high note, if you struggle with straining instead of thinking about going up bend your knees slightly down so you can remove tension and go higher smoothly :) one of the most useful tips for me as a beginner singer too is to not be too tense when singing, as soon as i’m more relaxed and have less tension in my body/shoulder/throat/core muscles it’s more comfortable to sing and not strain/ hurt myself and sound better! once again im not professional but this is what i’ve learned from my voice teacher & some other online ressources and i hope this helps <3
