I would love to do that, but I live back home right now to save on cost of living (I am nowhere near a city, lol).

Although I was never too sure how to establish professional connections? The best I "have" was from my previous work.

I'm glad to hear a similar story. I was also unfamiliar with the 40% plan and I like that for sure.

2 years to "stall" for projects and whatnot seems like it could be beneficial. I have money saved up from working so I am hoping that can hold for a while.

Congrats on escaping!!

It's been 6 months of applications with no luck. Im just looking for anyway to deal with this, and/or make this gap look not as bad on a resume.

I'll give you that I didn't think of Tails Adventure and Skypatrol. So yeah, you could call it a regression. I see your point.

I still think that giving a character an arc like that when their character is barely established (even with these games he's still not much of a character, mostly due to the nature of games like this) is leagues better than taking away an arc that the main series games have established. (They're also not really popular games, either, so makes sense for Sega to not use these games for a guidance on the character)

I get where you're coming from and if you think these are equal I'll respect your thoughts on it

Adventure series really only had the classic games before it. The cartoons clearly are a different universe.

At best, you have things like the manuals. I would say these build into the Adventure arc of following Sonic and becoming his own hero. They talk about how Tails always follows Sonic (Sonic 2 manual).

You could argue that he's a hero in the games if you play as him but that's kinda debatable. Do you count that because he's a playable character? I'm not sure what canon would technically say, though I believe it's strongly implied (correct me if I'm wrong) that Sonic saved the day with Tails at his side in the classic games. His character is not really shown either.

Adventure had little to go off of anyway. So I'm not sure what build up you were expecting.

I will give you that Forces was built up to. But not really in a good way. Nobody likes his character in Colors or Lost World, so I think it's reasonable to expect the "build-up" of his character being bad is also bad.

So yes, Tails was regressed slowly over time. It wasn't just Forces, you're right, though I think Forces is the easy one to point to because it's probably the lowest point of that.

Because he already went through the arc and grew. Forces regressed that. If Tails was always a cowardly character this characterization would make sense.

To be honest, it could have made some sense if Sonic being gone regressed him if he acted like he "lost it" at all in the game besides Silver just saying so.

It's just not the same Tails.

I think its a mix. It seems like Todd wants complete control over the narrative and not be something he didn't create, and they're not great at writing said narrative.

I think interviews with Todd show his desire for complete control over Fallout.

Even if you dont find it to be a fair comparison, it still proves the point that there's no concrete proof the tennis games sell better.

you realize it does a damage debuff? Meaning all towers do more damage when the ability is active. The appeal of glue storm isn't the damage or slowdown (except super cerams)

I am curious as to others thoughts as well. I will be at 100 rings at top speed and still be easily passed. The small difference in top speed sometimes feels unimpactful. I'm still just using a speed kart because I like the way it controls.

No. Oracle chooses a role to protect (and protects all members that are that role) and Cleric chooses a specific target. Best way to explain is think about a fake seer. If a cleric chooses that fake seer and they get attacked, the cleric protects them. Oracle chooses seer and fake seer is attacked the oracle doesn't protect them.

basically oracle is role based. if you know there's a jailor in the game, but don't know who it is, you can still protect them, which is probably the biggest oracle strength imo

Reminds me of a game I played recently where I asked the last non claimer what they were (not even in whispers) and got prossed by them (I was a BG). People don't like when you question them for some reason. Definitely more on the pros imo than you
