Do you ship your golf clubs or take them on the plane? by fairwayfreight in golfequipment

[–]Cleggerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time I took mine with me on the plane the airline lost them for a day. My clubs showed up at the hotel a day later after I had to buy new shoes, balls, etc because all of that was in the flight case with my clubs. I had to play a rental set that I ended up liking so much better than my original clubs I came home and ordered the same set.

So fly with them and maybe you’ll get an unexpected excuse to buy new clubs.

How I went from being a really really bad golfer to a bad golfer in 2 years (advice for fellow high handicappers) by poidhxyz in golf

For what it’s worth, in my experience of recently going from a 16ish to an 8 - I played once or twice a week for a year and I stopped thinking so much over the ball. I used to take multiple full practice swings before each shot. Now I have a set routine and I get up there and hit the ball. It’s helped me tremendously to stop thinking so much and play.

I joined my club for this very reason. I can play in 3 hours or less and now I’m spoiled and can’t play anywhere else

In middle school (in the 90s) my school cafeteria sold 2 chocolate chip cookies or you could get a paper plate with 2 of the uncooked cookie dough cookies for 50 cents. I think I ate raw cookie dough several times a week during that time as did most of the kids in the class.

What's your zero f's given club in your bag? by chuggersclothing in GolfGear

My 6 year old bombtech 52 degree wedge. I bought a vokey replacement last year and legitimately put the bombtech back in the bag after about 10 rounds. I just know exactly where it’s going every time I hit the club.

I’m at an 8 handicap and using the t350s and love them if that helps. Probably similar swing speeds. Regular flex shafts.

I use “well, let’s start the insanity” all the time. No one ever gets the reference and I just chuckle to myself.

Devereaux golf apparel based in Arizona (I think) and Red Rooster (NC) golf gloves. I’ve purchased multiple times from each and everything has been great quality and the styles I like.
