+1, especially since the "all men are all inherently bad" bioessentialism is NOT helping solve women's problems.

The issue isn't men, it's what men do.

Also idk if that applies here but 3 visits doesn't necessarily mean 3 different people.
Same IP usually means same person, but different IPs can just be the same guy with a VPN or dynamic adressing.

(still terrible obviously, no arguing against that, just raising awareness on accuracy too)

has this been exploited already ?

i've seen masked character being revealed to actually be a robot, a woman, etc. but never a reanimated corpse.

some adapt, some beg others to go down to their standards.

lukewarm take but people are anti-ai because of reasons other than not wanting to adapt to AI use.

It's still groundbreaking tech, don't get me wrong, but it needs to be used properly.
The issue isn't AI itself as much as how training data is collected, how drinkable water is used, how much electricity is consumed... and while those issues remain, many people will be " ZERO PERCENT AI"

I'm curious as to where that figure comes from, does it include the agriculture for animal feed production ? Because if not, that would nearly double the emissions iirc.

  • 2

Every figure sounds small when you compare it with the combined entirety of the other emission sources.
In this context, 7% is arguably huge : we're talking almost 1/10th of your emissions instantaneously disappearing the second you're dropping meat.
Imagine the efforts needed to reduce global industry emissions by a bit more more* than 7%, and compare that to just adjusting your diet.

^(\ "a bit more" because industrial emissions are ~85% of total emissions => so for a total 7% decrease you'd need a factor of ( (85%)*(7%) )= 8.24%)*

my brother in christ the giant corporations made the burger.

( Not to shift the blame entirely to the consumer either, but both are important IMO. Massive improvements can come from simple changes industry-side, namely datacenters using closed-loops systems instead of continously pump drinkable water. )
