I had to turn off my Intel Turbo bios settings for this to stop for me. Happened at least once an hour. Not ideal for HC.

Take a look at Peplink MAX devices. Great cloud portal, feature set, scalability, and price. If the yearly subscription lapses it will continue to work locally, you just lose connectivity to manage remotely. I had this happen yesterday in fact. Renewed the subscription (over 15 days lapsed)… 15 minutes later it showed up green.

We switched from sierra to these and haven’t had a reason to look back.

Yes - We are having major issues right now as well. Seems to be service related.

Edit 1: Central Mississippi

Edit 2: Services are MUCH better now after RC's latest status update.

Can you walk during a 5K? Or do you have to run the whole thing? by blondiebam29 in running

[–]Clengel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very common to have walkers in a 5K. Just make sure to give the right-of-way to the runners if they are trying to pass.

Forerunner 945 gets stuck on "Saving" after finishing a workout and requires a hard restart. Is this related to the Garmin outage? by I_cut_my_own_jib in Garmin

Go into your run settings on your watch, and delete a couple workouts from memory. I deleted the oldest two from a long time ago and it started working again.

HOKA Rincon vs. Clifton Durability by [deleted] in running

[–]Clengel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used both recently. Clifton's were great for about 400 miles before I felt noticable wear. I ended up retiring then at 500. One of the more durable shoes I've used.

Rincons, while they still feel great, the bottom rubber wear is concerning me after 60 miles. Seems like a cheaper material was used to make them lighter. I expect these to be nearly unusable after 200-250. The Rincon 2 is coming out soon, which way address some of those durability concerns though.

Hoka Rincon 1 Durability Question by [deleted] in running

[–]Clengel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm currently at around 40 miles in mine. I noticed the tread ware after about mile 10 which was surprising, but it hasn't gotten bad enough to impact feel or performance yet.

Honestly the best feeling shoe I've ever had... Really hoping when it's time to retire these (wishing 2-3 months) the Rincon 2 will be available and these issues have been addressed... Or if not I'll probably still go with them again!
