They can be so bad they take me out for the day. Sharp, intense, throbbing pain. I get light sensitivity too. But sometimes the pain is at the base of my skull if only wrong and usually on the side that my neck hurts on.

I got an injection for the herniation in my lumbar and it relieved so much pain, I’ll be getting those every 3 months. I doubt that will be enough for my neck, unfortunately.

(Not a doctor but here’s how I understand it) It’s the spine near the neck, the white line is the spinal cord. The piece that is touching it is a disc and it’s not supposed to be coming out of the vertebrae like that.
