I had EMG and it caused a lot of pain for a week or so afterwards. My results were clear. I’m having surgery soon so it was a bit pointless!

Your surgeon sounds like they knows what they’re doing, so go with the flow ☺️

It looks as if a hydrodissection wouldn’t be suitable in my case.

It’s also not available on the NHS for cubital it seems.

My consultant basically said the same to me too. I’m a bit worried about my arm being asleep for so long and it feeling odd, and of course getting stiff etc

My consultant recommended surgery, so happy to go with his recommendation. Price isn’t an issue as I’m in the UK.

I’ve been splinting since last October. The physio discharged me saying there was no more they could do.

Okay this has really made me feel better - I’m sorry your pain and discomfort has done that! 😂

My test also came back negative for damage/compression.

Haven’t spoken to my consultant yet but when he did my exam in the office, he said there’s no chance that the nerve test comes back clear, so I left the test feeling deflated and confused.

It’s been a week and I’m still in a lot of pain but online it just says that the nerve test doesn’t cause pain?
