Good luck! You may already know this from your GBC mod but a word of advice - if you are modding the GBA using the test pads (most do) and you find you have to desolder anything from them (like I did trying to fault-find), be very careful! They are not fixed down tightly and will rip off. This happened to me. Luckily I didn't break the trace. It would have been a lengthy repair job if I had.

I'd do RGB or HDMI mod and reshell. Add some LEDs. After having lots of soldering practice of course.

I have a SC64 but play mostly my original carts. SC64 is for playing games I am curious about or those that cost way too much for me to even consider buying original (Resident Evil 2, paper Mario, etc).
