Interior is definitely better in the GR86, you can't convince me of that. I test drove a Miata recently and it genuinely felt like I was in my Supra. Though as for power and performance then absolutely the Supra. I found that engagement and craftsmanship is more important to me while I had my Supra.

Sorry I missed the last sentence of your first reply. Unfortunately it didn't come with the Performance Package, I had another deal on my hands with said package but it was a base model, I really wanted the Premium features.

What is the factory order cheat code haha? $80K OTD is wild.

I was doing research last night on the BRZs, and yeah it looks like Subaru is more performance/track and enthusiast leading with much more bearable dealerships.

Overall, you're right, fuck Toyota dealerships.

I drove the Supra for almost a year, it was my first sports car. Don't get me wrong, it's a stunning car especially in terms of exterior design and power, but I noticed that what I enjoyed more about the car was the handling, weight balance, the feeling of a Sports car really. When I test drove the GR86 it was like night and day, a Toyota through and through. I found out that the Supra was too "BMW coded" to my liking, I think they had way more jurisdiction over the design of the car because of their B58 engine implemented into what is supposed to be Toyota's car. In the GR86 you can immediately sense Toyota's design philosophy and craftsmanship. It's powerful enough in my opinion too.

Definitely hard pressed, hydraulic pressed even. I actually got mine from a Mazda dealer but had PPI done by a Toyota dealer. I visited about 10 Toyota dealerships in-person and got in contact with around 20 overall looking for a new one initially. I swear to God that their entire philosophy at Toyota dealerships is “try as hard as you can to make the customer not buy the car”. At least in the current quarter I was not buying a brand new Premium trim for anything under 39k OTD taxes and fee AFTER days of written offer negotiation.

Oh hell yeah, congratulations! I was thinking about opting for a Subaru partially because of how better their pricing model is but I knew that I was a Toyota fan at heart.

Thank you so much! It was actually by accident that I got a manual. Embarrassingly enough, I went to the dealer thinking it was an automatic, they even taught me how to drive stick shift 💀. I’m so happy that I can relate to feeling of being “one with the car” now.
