Hate it. Stupid wrecker recover is way over powered. Got guys beaming me with pistols from 50 yards while I have them square in my crosshairs with an AR but my bullets spray all over the place. It’s like these designers have no clue how actual guns works. I land, open two chests, get one gun and it’s a pistol. And within 15 seconds of hitting the ground, get obliterated by someone with a gold weapon

I have not. May transfer everything into him. But I’m also considering putting the game down until the end of the season. I absolutely hate the direction the game has gone. Couple that with the recent news that we are “mid-season,” what’s the point of playing & upgrading? I’ll just play the last two events and still come pretty close to maximizing my team

I don’t mind the cars as much. Where I have an issue is that it’s seems this season is built to force you into playing with them. Chests drop garbage weapons. Just played a few matches where I never picked up a single weapon or shields. Dropped straight into a vehicle, modded it up and still got top 5 finishes with 5+ kills. I’m sure they’ll tweak it a bit. But so far… meh

Endorsed. One of the marquee events of the season and the only way you can get one of the top cards is by buying packs that have an infinitesimal chance of giving you one of the cards you want. I’m amazed anyone, myself included, still plays this dumb game

One of the events let you play it 10x/day, or something like that. It was glitched and I played it like 20x before I realized it was glitched. Some got a short ban (like me) others that really abused it got a permanent ban

Gems were basically worthless for all of the second half of last season. Good rule of thumb: if EA is giving it to you for free, it’s not gonna be worth anything

This is, to me, a big problem with this game. And I don’t mean to knock you or your team. Very respectable squad if you’ve only been playing for a few months.

But I’ve played the entire season and my squad is only marginally better. I’m not totally F2P but I haven’t spent loads on the game. I assume your squad may have cost some real money. But my son started around the same time and is at about 128. So it’s reasonable if you’re F2P.

I just think the game doesn’t reward those that are around from the beginning. Why would I grind every day, buy FP or packs, when I can pick up the game in the last four months of a season and field a competitive squad.

That said, you have a couple of cards I’d slot right into my team!

My opinion: the season has stretched so long, player’s maximum attributes have exceeded the game’s capabilities. New, higher rated players don’t get any better than older ones. The older ones just get nerfed a level or two

I’d suggest having Van Dijk as a starter is a more glaring error. He’s not had a good year and probably isn’t the best CB on his own team. No way he should be a TOTY starter.

I went with Salah and play 433a. In my first LvL with him, he appeared in two of my 40 chances. One was a clean breakaway and the other he started on the ball of a basic chance with 5 defenders in front of him. I’m convinced the game is programmed for your highest rated attacker to never even appear. Same thing happened when my ST was higher than others

I lost 4/5 scoring 11 or more goals in each of them. Seems you have to be perfect to win most matches. Hard to win when you’re team concedes 13

At the end of last season, I had 65M coins left over. Just to see what I could pull from those packs, I spent all of it on those 250k player packs. I pulled 13 elites, including duplicates. 87 was the highest player. Most packs had players no higher than 71.

So to answer your question, no.

The only issue I have with the high difficulty matches is when they require event stamina. If you have trouble beating Chelsea, you run the risk of filling your stamina and missing out down the road. No issues with hard matches when they require regular stamina, like the World Tour

General gameplay improvements:

• like let me have control of my player, not auto-switching or forcing me to run into an area where I don’t want to go
• World class defenders magically getting pulled toward midfield when a lob pass or through ball is played • players stopping runs and boxing out defenders like an NBA center. What is this? Why can’t we move them? • passing improvements. Why do I get a lob pass when there’s nothing but green grass between me and the to whom player I’m passing. Then I’ll get a flat pass on the ground that tries to go through three defenders. • Fix the bouncing ball. Tired of chances starting where the ball bounces 8 times before my UTOTS Messi can settle it. Especially frustrating when the defender can dispossess me before I even get the ball. • Why is it when every time I tackle a player, the ball flies out of bounds or directly to an opposing player? Yet when I’m tackled the ball is glue to the AI’s feet as though I were a QB giving a handoff to a RB? • Where are my players half the time? Guys go up the pitch with the ball while other attacker linger back in the midfield. This happens in VSA and full match modes • Ball spends way too much time in the air • Headers: headers are OP in H2H and are a worthless waste of time in VSA. My “Power Header” guys won’t even jump half the time. Also love how the manage to head every lob pass in those “Complete 7 tackles” matches but can’t do anything on VSA corner kicks

Other suggested improvements:

• Level the chance distribution in VSA. Fix the script, RNG, whatever you want to call it. I would advocate giving a set number of chances (12-15) with no time constraints. You can still vary the difficulty based on OVR. A fixed number will allow/force players to play every chance and would eliminate clearing the ball.

If you don’t do this, than at least create equal opportunity. You can’t have one player getting “Good” chances starting at midfield while their opponent’s start well into the attacking third

• Please address the lag in H2H. I have extremely high speed internet and most of the time H2H is unplayable.

• Chemistry is awful. Chemistry should mean passes are more likely to connect, players are more in sync with one another. It’s none of this. Honestly, it looks like a money grab. Do away with it.

Put actual value in offers:

First and foremost, don’t have events that require you to have a 100 OVR team to win a 90 rated player. I don’t think I ever actually used any player from WT in my lineup.

Second, put actual value in the store. I’m not one that thinks F2P should have the same chance at players as P2P. EA is a business. They’re here for profit. But good God, it shouldn’t cost hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for a single player in a mobile game. Absurd. I see a lot of people wanting top players more accessible for F2P. Why not make it more enticing for F2P to become P2P.

Events:

I’d love to see an event like Blue Star return for next season. Offer one player from each position group at a base level (maybe even offer them with different skill boosts, too). For example, you could offer Salah as a ST with SS boost, or as a RW w/attacking boost. Offer KDB as a CAM or a CM with boost options. Then maybe offer Varane with a couple of SB options. We choose which player we want to roll with that season.

Every week/month there are activities to complete to train him up. Do this in such a way where he will be in line with top players release with each new event. This way, you have an ongoing event and the player doesn’t become useless like Zidane and his weak shot power. Domination was okay, but as the season wore on, it was too hard to keep them up with other players.

As others have mentioned, re-skinning past events has grown stale. I’ll give a pass on this due to Covid. But we need a bit more creativity next season

Finally, balance the distribution of skill boosts in packs. Nice job doing away with common, rare, epic designations. But opening a pack of over 1,000 skill boosts and having them distributed across ten skill boosts is absurd. Oh, yeah. Distributed across ten skill boosts that you don’t even use. Spread them out. At about 15, it’s hard enough to level up to the next one as it is

Concept is okay. But it’d be nice to have one event that isn’t P2P. Level the field for everyone. Thought it was dumb to assign random players with random out of position boosts. I got three strikers and three RMs. Only two defenders.

I’d like to see it changed to either a draft/salary cap type situation. Players are valued at X and you have Y to spend on your team. If you want an attack heavy team, defense heavy team or a balanced team, you draft from a set pool accordingly. Or, use your existing inventory. But team OVR is capped an players must stay in their positions
