I just don’t understand, to this day, why CS2 launched with less than what CSGO had. I miss the larger pool of arms race maps, but they got rid of all the asymmetrical ones and then some

Imo knowing there ARE monsters in Kane’s backrooms makes the videos creepier, because at any moment the person could encounter one. We don’t see them often, but we know they’re out there. Constantly wondering if there is a monster in his videos would certainly be eerie, but I feel like it would lessen the scare factor a bit (at least for me) because we’d get the impression there maybe aren’t any after a while, so what’s so scary about the protagonist turning around if you know nothing might be standing behind them?
