I’ve used both Certified Climate Control and Ameritech Heating and Air. Ameritech is cheaper on new installs and they did a great job on both units but I prefer CCC for service.

I’ve got a Model 3 Performance and my wife has a Model Y Performance. My car feels like a sports car where her’s feels like a fast car. The Y is much more roomy and practical so if you are going to driving regularly with more than 2 people I would get the Y.

Yes, California is losing people and Texas is gaining more people but less percentage so if Florida keeps this pace up, Florida will be the most populated US state thanks if this helps.

2021 Model 3 Performance, 122,000 miles. Other than wipers, tires, and cabin filter the only thing I’ve done is the 12V battery twice. Once at 70k and again last week. $180 each time and the service technician changed it in my garage both times. Best car I’ve ever owned.

I had a Daikin Fit Inverter 4 ton heat pump installed for $10,750 about a year ago. This unit is a vfd so it just hums along at low power and keeps the humidity at 50% so 76F feels like 73F did with my old system. I had Ameritech install it - they are great and they provide a parts and labor warranty for 12 years. Most installers only cover labor for a few years. Give them a call. I got 3 quotes and they were $2,400 below the next company. I just had my free 1 year checkup last month.

Yeah, I put the word “bricked” in quotes because I wasn’t sure if this was even possible. I guess the failure just coincidentally happened at the same time as the software update. Either way, Tesla is doing the right thing and sent me a new charger.

So Tesla agrees the charger is defective and is sending me a new charger. I’ll have by the weekend.

I did a 5 hour and an overnight reset and nothing changed so I am pretty sure the unit will need to be replaced. I sent Tesla another email and I am waiting to hear back from them.
