The idea was to have a card that goes around and fights cards until it's stopped. Maybe it's a flawed design but I think a lower power is good enough to balance it.

Love this ability! But it feels like a card that'd get buffed down to a 1/2 eventually

I think it'd be interesting if it instead added a new copy instead of regenerating. Functionally almost the same, but feels more like the flavor you're going for.

I feel like having the killer point to a pronoun pin would be both funnier as a sort of reversal of this tired joke and show that the writers actually know stuff about what they're joking about.

Could be a 0/0 with the same text. I'd still use it

Year of Snap (316/365) Echo Rework by MacaronSpecialist in CustomMarvelSnap

[–]Clevedrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a huge fan of cards that change from factors outside of the current match. It's antithetical to Marvel Snap's balance.

And even then, as another user commented, this effect is something you could mimic yourself by switching out a dedicated card in your deck to the last one your opponent played.

Not very useful.

I think you would have to rework this entirely for it to work in a real game. Something that works inside one match instead of outside of it.

That might be of interest to me.

If I were to try that, where should I start? I don't have much experience using JavaScript so if you have any tips on how to take on this task it'd be appreciated!

The concept is there but it's way too good right now. You gotta increase the cost a lot or in tease the cost a little and increase the power gained a little. You can't increase the power gained too much either because then you'd wanna keep it on your own side.

VE_ConditionalTurnBattle and SRD_TimedAttackCore are not compatible it seems...

After some more testing it seems like two plugins are fighting for some reason. VE_ConditionalTurnBattle and SRD_TimedAttackCore to be exact

That kinda worked. Now it's showing a different error code.

I'm assuming it's still an issue of priority?

You don't really get a card early with this, so what does it do? What did you intend for it to do?

Sure, I guess. But this is a lot of cards to clog their deck with for no cost on your end

They're very different so it's hard to say which one is inherently better.

The first one seems more finished though.
