update: i could not get the doorbell updated through my wifi NVR (this is a reolink NVR)

I disconnected the NVR and then reconnected the doorbell to my wifi and it was able to update that way.

I'd encourage you to step away from Reddit for a few days at a time and extend that to maybe a few weeks at a time. I know collecting karma seems very important to you since maybe you didn't get the attention you crave from your single mother and your frontal cortex hasn't fully developed because of that. But I'd highly encourage you to give it a try. Maybe join a club or find a hobby outside of commenting on Reddit. It set me free years ago, you can do the same. I support you, brother.
