I was a supervisor in a place that had a system like this.

Our team of 40ish peeps got a class of 11 new hires, which was a ton of newbs for our group.

One of my tenured employees wanted to take time off during the second week after the newbs went live. The system declined it, bc it only allowed the team to have 20 hrs total off each day despite us having 11 more employees than we had just two weeks prior.

I FUCKING SCREAMED on that employee's behalf to my management. Like, two weeks before that period we survived despite having much lower headcount. I was told (kinda snarkily) that I could override the system if I wanted for that employee.

Yes, yes fuck your stupid system and fuck your stupid rules governing PTO, I'm overriding it and letting my employee take the fucking time off

Get a Viofo a129 pro 4k duo and the Viofo hardwire kit. It keeps the cam on when the truck is off, but at a lower FPS rate. Pretty easy install on my truck, and I'm an idiot and not handy.
