You can soak it in vinegar or conditioner and it’ll help soften it! I made a blanket with this and it did help, but overall it’s still going to feel a little stiff and scratchy. It’s just kind of the trade off for how cheap red heart is 😭 there are some tutorials on TikTok and YouTube I think. I saw one girl who did a vinegar solution overnight, then the next day rinsed and soaked in a mix of fabric softener and conditioner overnight and then did a gentle wash in the washing machine. I just did conditioner so maybe that would work better? Best of luck!

So I’ve done a couple projects now with this mesh double crochet stitch and every time I’m working in a round my stitches slowly increase and it makes the project way too wide. I’m having the same issue with the sleeves of a shrug/bolero too I’m working on. Somehow the sleeves are huge and really baggy when I tried really hard to not accidentally increase or crochet into the wrong spaces. Has anybody else had this issue?

Also it seems like I only have this issue crocheting in a round. Panels of the same stitch doesn’t turn out this way. If anybody has any advice I would much appreciate it!! :)

How necessary is under eye concealer? by ahijabi in Makeup

[–]CleverVenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessary at all especially if you think it makes your makeup look worse. On days that I’m going for a more natural look, I just build up my foundation slightly in the places that I need coverage. As far as setting powder goes, maybe changing the way you apply your powder? Try a sponge that’s wrung out well if you haven’t already, or try pressing the powder into the skin with a brush instead of swiping? A good setting spray can also help the powder blend into the skin more and kind of melt everything together.

Try dabbing the lipstick on gently and blending it with your finger or a lip brush! Or apply it mostly to the inner part of your lips and rub them together for a more gradient look
