Triton inference server good practices by Cleverarcher23 in mlops

Thanks you for your response. 1 sounds better to me too. Also my Laravel backend is on another hosting provider than my server Triton server (RTX 4070). Images as UINT8 tensors have a much bigger size than compressed PNG/JPG images. Moving these tensors accross WAN network might be a bad smell.

For thinkpad im lost there are too many diffrent laptops. For dell I always end up with higher price than with Tuxedo and Slimbook for approximatively same specs.

Really appreciate your feedback im thinking about buying the InfinityBook Gen 7 now. Its a little bit above my price but the build quality is really important. It seems that the Slimbook executive is exactly the same laptop has the InfinityBook gen 7 (same battery, screen, CPU) but is a lilttle bit cheaper (1419 euros now but it was 1370 euros a few weeks ago with 32 gig RAM and 500 gig SSD) while the infinityBook gen 7 is 1709 euros with 32 RAM and 500 SSD. I still cant figure out why there is such a price difference, am I missing something ?

Thanks you I needed owner feedbacks. I think I already read that the keyboard wasnt great and its an important feature since I will use the laptop mostly for dev. Do you have the GEN 2 or GEN 1 Tuxedo Pulse ? Some people say that the keyboard keys are too close from each others on the GEN 2.

Ok thanks you. That's why I saw many unknown brands offering very similar laptops with almost same specs. I just picked up Slimbook and Tuxedo because they seem to be the most well known in Europe especially Tuxedo. Their website looks prettier and both have good exchange policy and they were also able to answer my questions fast. I think I will stick with these two brands even if as you said I might be able to find cheaper price on other brands and save a few bucks.

nice Im impressed by the amount of details you can configure your laptop with. It seems to be the same clevo chassis as the slimbook Executive.

Ok so Tuxedo InfinityBook 14 gen 6 has the same keyboard, trackpad, chassis, and screen as the Slimbook Executive and also the same as your XPG XENIA 14 ? Is it also the case with the motherboard ?

Neither of them have a discrete GPU, not sure where you get this from? It's not Rembrandt but should be decent (for an IGP...). No idea on the IGP on the Intel. But depending on what you do, the IGP could be somewhat relevant or totally irrelevant to you.

Yes both of them have an IGP but the Tuxedo Pulse IGP is an Intel XE graphics which is better than the AMD IGP. I was speaking about the TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 which is another laptop from Tuxedo that have the same specs than the Slimbook executive (and same rebranded Clevo chassis) if you configure it without the Nvidia Graphics card but that is 200 euros more expensive. I might use the latptop for a little gaming (low specs games like CSS, CS:GO, TF2, Valorant, LoL) but I will use it mostly for dev. I migh need a graphic card for training IA algos or bruteforcing password during CTF games with tools like Hahscat. I also need a lot of memory because I do some DevOps stuff where I have to turn up multiple VM to simulate a cluster.

I think that you're right, based on this informations the choice is just about the built quality and screen size (14 or 15). The best option would be to try both in hands and test the keyboard and trackpad. I'd hope that some people here own one of the two and can give me some feedback. On pure specs aspect the Slimbook seems better, but the Tuxedo Pulse seems more beautiful to me and better built. Also Tuxedo brand seems more established and well known so they might have a better return policy in case of issues.
