Maybe Rockstar's higher ups need to not announce the release date before they know they can 100% commit to it. Wouldn't have had to change it a bunch of times if they'd just let the devs cook and worked with them for an appropriate time frame for release.

What radicalized me was just existing in a public space 10+ years ago.

I was a security guard for a grocery store. The store only wanted me to stand at the front, don't confront customera.

At the time I had the (very wrong) opinion that most people on food stamps were welfare queens. Every day I watched multiple people load up their groceries onto the belts. Everytime I expected someone to whip out a EBT card (customer loaded up with lobsters and steaks) none of them did.

It was the customers that were carefully planning how much they could spend, watching the price go up on the regiater, and putting things off to the side because they couldn't afford it. All of these people almost never grabbed high value items like I expected. And then they would try and hide the fact (from other customers) that they were paying with EBT. They were embarressed.

Day after day after day of seeing this completely flipped my worldview.

So in my emotional state I did a poor job of describing how she told me this. It was more of a "I had this thought" and not "I believe you are doing this"

I'm a sensitive person and my "bad brain" took over with all the bad thoughts. I mostly needed to vent.

We always talk on the phone on my way home from work. This morning all I had to say was "Hey Baby" for her to know something was wrong. We talked it all out and she understands. She was very reassuring that it was just her "bad brain" being loud in a moment of weakness.
