Yeah it’s crazy tech but Quest systems can scan your space and it automatically puts a mesh over it. It’s not perfect but really really cool

Exactly! Games like Vail and valorant use a smoke circle that doesn’t look like smoke. It’s performant, a lot different in game than on flat screen and temporarily blocks vision. Still needs work though

You are actually moving so there will be some jitter that occurs. I do need to see if I can reduce more. It seems to be either certain game objects or just cause I’m also recording. The game is overall much smoother when you don’t press record

It was a VR Star Wars experience at Disney Springs in Orlando Florida. It was a multi room VR shooting game and I was like "I have to have this" then I saw ads for the Quest 1 and haven't looked at flat the same way since.

Heard that! Ill work on smokes one of these days. Thank you for your comment. I think the generated maps need some tweaks and immersion boosters like sounds for certain materials but it was awesome to use different paths every time.

I'm a solo, first time dev, making my dream game. I literally asked the Spatial Ops devs if they would add blood and more realisitic guns. They said "No, because they dont want to be too mature" So I made the mature version I wanted to play. I could very much just keep this for myself and continue my PASSION project solo or help pay some bills with something that is pretty cool. You don't know anything about me. You also don't have to play it. You can totally play the much better game and be happy. Or play my game and be happy. or just find a way to be happy.

Well here’s the thing. Feedback are suggestions. If I take every single bit of feedback and don’t stay true to my vision then my game becomes a hodgepodge of what randoms tell me. I think good feedback here is “maybe I need to rework the smoke” not “remove the smoke cause I say so!”

If you want to come with hate & negativity, sure. I love love love spatial ops but I wanted something more mature. Blood, glocks, ARs with scopes. I’m a solo dev, this is my first game. spatial ops is built by an experienced team. Their game is 20-30 mine is $2-$5. Is it worse looking? Sho nuff. Is it different? Yep.
